The carbs were pretty crusty. Since there had been a lot of dirt dobber nests around the carbs and it looked like squirrels had hidden nuts in the air cleaners, I decided to take the carbs (Rochester H) off and rebuild them. I am still in the rebuilding phase on the first one. I have the kit and I'm ready to go, it seems like other things keep coming up here and there.

Attack of the dual carbs

One of the two Rochester "H" carbs.

A little closer look.

A different view.

Carb is now open!

The half with the bowls that the floats fit into. You can also see the venturi cluster in the middle.

The other side with the floats.
This is what happens when old gas is left sitting in the carb.
You can see the jet right in the middle. I'm leaving the same one in there. I don't think I'll need to change sizes.
A better look at the floats.
Various carb innards.
Not clean.
Cleaned up after a dip in the carb cleaner.
Cleaned carb halves and parts that also went into the dip. Next order of business is rebuilding this one and then heading onto the other carb.
